In the beautiful woodland of Milton Country Park, Cambridge, an exciting new leisure attraction is being developed. ZAPT Laser Tag is due to open in May 2024, and work has now begun to transform an acre of woodland within the park into the ultimate laser tag ZAPT Zone.
ZAPT Laser Tag is the latest attraction to be opened by Beth and Chris Walthew and Walthew Leisure, the award-winning family business behind the successful Clip ‘n Climb Cambridge and Climb Quest in Milton Keynes.
For players aged 8 and above, ZAPT Laser Tag is a high-energy strategy team activity, with state-of-the-art equipment, with games guided by the ZAPT marshals. Suitable for birthday parties, group bookings and days out with family and friends, the ZAPT Zone can take up to 30 players at any one time.
‘We have been looking for the next opportunity to develop our business in Cambridge, and we’re so pleased to be working with The Cambridge Sport Lakes Trust in Milton Country Park’, comments Chris Walthew. ‘Working with the Rangers in the park has meant that we are able to develop an exciting new attraction, whilst also staying in tune with the nature around us’.
Sophy Jobai, Operations Manager at The Cambridge Sport Lakes Trust, stated, ‘We have worked hard during the last 9 months to bring ZAPT Laser Tag at Milton Country Park as an all-year-round unique outdoor activity, with the expectation to widen our activity scale. We are also very proud to have the possibility to work with Beth and Chris who are not only successful entrepreneurs, but also extraordinary people. We can’t wait to step on this journey together.’
ZAPT Laser Tag opens on 11th May 2024, and is open every weekend and during the school holidays. Groups can also hire ZAPT privately. ZAPT bookings are available from 22nd April 2024.
