Our public sessions are available on weekends, school holidays and selected times during the term time week.

ZAPT Laser Tag Cambridge is also available for:

Age restrictions

• Players aged 13 and above can play without adult supervision
• Players between 8 and 12 can play unaccompanied, although at least one adult must stay within the vicinity of ZAPT (unless already playing in their game)
• Players aged 6 or 7 can play but must be accompanied by a playing adult
• Groups with two or more 6 or 7 year-olds will need at least 2 playing adults accompanying them
• Please note, only players can enter the ZAPT Zone

The ZAPT Laser Tag Session

Laser tag sessions are 75 minutes long, consisting of a 15-minute briefing and 1 hour in the ZAPT Zone. Your time in the ZAPT Zone includes receiving your laser tag blaster and target set, new game briefings and handing back your equipment before you leave the zone.

You’ll be kitted out with state-of-the-art laser tag blasters packed full of interactive gameplay modes and technology. They include shields, respawns, multi-ammo modes, even a zombie mode if you’re feeling brave enough. The blasters let you know how much armour and ammo you have left during the game, as well as when you’ve been ZAPT. Plus, they’re super strong and light enough to be easy to use for even the youngest players.

On top of all this, our skilled and super friendly marshals will be dotted throughout the ZAPT Zone to deliver game and safety briefings, team tactic talks and assistance to all who need it.

Your missions in the ZAPT Zone

During your session, you will play a selection of structured missions designed to test your tactics, develop your teamwork and gaming skills, plus get you having lots of fun. You have unlimited ammo but use your Zaps wisely because the reload pause could come when you need to Zap or be ZAPT!

For a truly immersive laser tag experience and to help the missions be evenly matched, we split larger groups in half, putting one half in the red team and the other in the blue team, to do battle in the ZAPT Zone.  

Missions include: 

• Capture the Flag - Get into stealth mode as you slip behind enemy lines to get the flag from the enemy base and take it all the way back to your base to win
• Total Elimination - The object of the mission for this laser tag game is just as its name describes - eliminate the opposing team
• The Domination Box - This task is all about holding the ground occupied by our unique Domination Box. The lights on the box will either show blue or red depending on which team is currently holding the position
• Protect the VIP - Each team must protect their own VIP, whilst eliminating their opposing teams’ VIP and other players
• Zombie Apocalypse - As the Zombies shoot the other players, they then get contaminated and join the Zombie team

Whether you are a beginner, experienced or well-seasoned player, you can take aim and fire up to 200 metres of unlimited shots.

Situated in the stunning Milton Country Park, our venue is ideal for your next family day out. After your laser tag session, you can enjoy the Park’s many facilities and activities, including a superb café, bike and walking trails, adventure playground and activities on the sports lakes.
